Ten Strands CEO, Karen Cowe, Sharon Danks, of Green Schoolyards America, Craig Strang, of The Lawrence Hall of Science, and Andra Yeghoian, of the San Mateo County Office of Education, will serve as panelists at the SXSW EDU Conference this March. The group had their panel, “Climate Resilient Schools, Future-Ready Students,” voted in as a part of the event’s Panel Picker, which solicits online voting from the public.

Their discussion will be centered on the National COVID-19 Outdoor Learning Initiative, which they partnered on to launch to address severe educational inequities.

The SXSW EDU Conference is a national event in Austin, Texas, that brings together innovative educators, professional development, and networking. The event features conference sessions, film screenings, world-class exhibitions, and competitions.
