Natalie is a seventh-grade Girl Scout from Sacramento. As part of her Girl Scout Silver Award, she is leading a project focused on student heat illness recognition and response with the goal of helping students learn how to stay safe during extreme heat through short, memorable safety lessons. Her work began after experiencing a record-breaking heat wave at her school and has since expanded to include engagement with education, health, and public safety leaders.
