Lori Kiesser

Lori Kiesser is the development officer for the Orange County Department of Education’s Inside the Outdoors, where she leads education and partnerships, working closely with school districts, community-based organizations, and strategic partners toward a goal to provide relevant environmental literacy experiences for all students. Over 120,000 students each year connect to the natural world through Inside the Outdoors’ environment-based traveling scientist, field trip, and service learning programs. A desire to ensure equitable access to transformative environment-based experiences for every student drives Lori’s work with Inside the Outdoors and the California Environmental Literacy Initiative.
