Devin Ngo
Devin is an environmental professional with experience across different sectors of sustainability, including renewable energy, waste management, and education. He attended UC Santa Barbara, where he earned a B.S. in environmental studies. He later returned to the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara to receive a master’s in environmental science and management, specializing in energy and climate. While at Bren, he was the data manager for his group thesis project, conducting a life cycle assessment of an algae biomaterial to analyze the environmental impacts of its production. He also became passionate about addressing environmental inequities, serving as a member of the Bren Environmental Justice Club and as outreach coordinator for the organization’s annual summit. Before joining Ten Strands, he was an environmental literacy, sustainability, and energy conservation fellow for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, where he supported sustainability projects focused on internal facilities and environmental literacy efforts. Devin is excited to continue working in the education space as a member of the Ten Strands team, uplifting schools as a spark for climate action.
