Jakobi Ewart
Working with and identifying as a frontline community member, Jakobi Ewart contributes his time solely towards advocating and supporting the voices within BIPOC communities that have been arbitrarily and viciously stamped out. He currently serves as a board member and executive director for The Niles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that focuses on providing urban greening, fresh food access, and environmentally sustainable resources to disadvantaged communities in South Los Angeles. Jakobi applies creative solutions drawn from his diverse background and connections (such as being an active real estate agent and affordable housing developer) to cultivate partnerships and collaborative opportunities in creating enriching programs for community development and equity. His belief is that through rigorous examination of self and our values, hard choices, engagement, and collaboration, we can mend the disparity and impact inherent in environmental injustices.
