In December 2021, at the age of 11, I launched We The Children - Kids Talk Climate Change with my teacher, Clare. This podcast delves into climate solutions from a youthful perspective, highlighting the deep concern my generation has for the future of our planet. Each episode tackles critical topics like recycling, regenerative farming, and reef restoration, providing stories, insights, and practical solutions to empower the next generation of environmental stewards. We The Children has achieved significant success, amassing over 650,000 downloads last season. I’ve hosted notable guests, including Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, who discussed her book, What If We Get It Right? My approach keeps the content fun and accessible, making complex environmental challenges engaging for listeners of all ages. This season, we introduced an educator's toolkit to help teachers bring climate literacy into classrooms, equipping young climate leaders with the knowledge to drive change. I also continue to advocate for environmental stewardship through speaking engagements at schools and clubs, focusing on practical actions like recycling and composting. The podcast has earned several prestigious awards, including a Webby nomination, two Gold W3 Awards, and three Anthem Awards. I am especially honored to receive the “Young Leader” Award in Sustainability, Environment & Climate from the Anthem Awards. Please reach out for more information on my initiatives or to get involved.
