Matt Biggar
Matt is a strategy consultant whose work focuses on social change, education and the environment. As Founder and Principal of Connected to Place, Matt supports collaboratives and organizations that are working to strengthen connections between people, communities and the natural environment; promote sustainable transportation; or otherwise facilitate social change and sustainability. Matt’s consulting services include strategic planning, meeting facilitation, research, report writing and presentations. Matt received his Ph.D. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Education in 2015, where his research focused on environmental learning, behavioral science, sustainable transportation and collective impact (a cross-sector social change process). Prior to Stanford, Matt served as a district and school-level administrator and teacher in the Bay Area public school system for 17 years. Matt has led and advised strategic initiatives for social change throughout his career.
