Jahmal’s career development began as a reporter/editor and includes stints at the Los Angeles Daily News and Reuters News Service. Prior to joining Ten Strands, Jahmal worked as a communications consultant for Southern California school districts while overseeing communications plans, media relations, social media branding, and print efforts. He is passionate about educational equity and highlighting underserved communities.
