Ian currently serves as associate director of education content at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), where works to develop accurate, engaging, and accessible learning resources covering a wide variety of global affairs topics, ranging from geography and history to climate and energy policy. Ian holds a Masters Degree in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Oberlin College.
