Annie Ransom lives in Oxnard with her husband and two children (ages nine and eleven). She works as the science/ELD TOSA for the Rio School District and is adjunct faculty in the School of Education at CSU Channel Islands. She has taught science in high school, middle school, and elementary school classrooms since 2005 and is continually looking to grow and evolve as an educator. She enjoys working with students, teachers, and teacher candidates throughout Ventura County to ignite curiosity and improve science education at large.
