The California State University (CSU) operates 23 campuses and educates 485,550 students every year.

Our partnership with the CSU is to advance PK–12 climate change literacy and environmental justice by focusing on teacher preparation and professional learning. We are proud to work with the CSU Office of the Chancellor’s Educator Preparation and Public School Public School Programs Department and the Energy, Sustainability, and Transportation Department and CSU campuses on the Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects to annually graduate 400,000+ California high school students to be literate in climate change and environmental justice issues and solutions.
